Despite appearing to be a fusion of two entirely different creatures, the build of a cinnrogh is sleek and elegant. Their bodies are lithe and limber and move with incredible fluidity and grace, their hollow bones making them seem to almost float even when on land. Their front halves are avian and almost entirely covered in feathers; only their hooked beaks and scaled talons are bare of the dense plumage.

Around their midsections the feathers of a cinnrogh will abruptly stop to grow, the rest of their bodies instead covered in tough reptilian scales. Most individuals have spikes running down the back of their half-reptillian bodies, and occassionally, their feathers will run down their entire spine in a kind of mane, ending only at the spaded tip of their tail.
