The Imperial Serpent is the official name given to the emblem of the Alamo Empire. Its design is the Alamin character for "A" with a silver (or sometimes navy) serpent coiled around it. In ages past, the serpent or the character were gold, but this has phased out with the new Alamo Empire using navy and silver as its colors.
The serpent itself, before its defining features were lost to centuries of replicating the symbol, is a mjalokka, a snake native to Raljikka that was common at the time of the formation of the Alamo Empire. Historically, the mjalokka was a symbol of unity and peace, for mjalokkas would congregate together in cold seasons and sunbathe coiled around one another. However, they have become extremely rare to the point of possible extinction since before the Godbomb.
