Kyrol (Scheli-dren: Kairoul) is both the name of an Estvoldian continent and the country that mostly comprises it. Prior to the Godbomb, Kyrol had numerous countries that were almost completely devoid of either ligvoels or darkrunners depending on the governing force, each country deferring to a particular monarchy that ruled over all Kyrolid countries of either race. Following the Godbomb, most of these countries dissolved and united under their respective monarchies to better survive the apocalypse's aftermath. However, the two monarchies and their people refused to cede Kyrol to the other. In the modern day, Kyrol is officially recognized as a single nation, but foreign affairs are a struggle and impossibility due to the conflicting governments that reside there. Recognizing one government over the other can spell out disaster, and so most countries elect not to deal with Kyrol except in ways that can go through both governments equally or neither of them at all.

Since the year 4301, movements have been made to combine the two Kyrolid monarchies, which would make this divided country into the United Reign of Kyrol. Other nations or governments, including the Veriol Alliance, have stated that they will formally recognize Kyrol as a soverign nation should they become a united country in this manner, further putting international pressure on Kyrol to unify. However, up until the year 4332, the notion of a United Reign of Kyrol was not officially recognized by either monarchy. As of 4339, Queen Merkrauer Reinfell and King Jeraak Zaltorst have been struggling to unify Kyrol despite the interracial strife and bloodshed, but their efforts to bring Kyrol together have, in many ways, just left the country all the more divided.

As a continent, Kyrol is linked to Tovat Ré by a landbridge and is primarily dominated by low precipitation biomes, although areas near the mountains and coasts experience higher rainfall. Several modern-day islands were once part of the mainland Kyrol and are consequently still considered part of the continental mass, such as Stergende and Lieleeu.
