Lyzots is the largest of the four nations comprising the Nakozot continent. Covered mostly by the Tasar Jungle, Lyzots has fewer large cities than its size and proximity to Gerualdi Union hubs would suggest. Its history is mired deep in the conflict between the lirastot and zhiji races, each of whom claim proper and ancestral ownership over the jungle and its bountiful land. To this day, the blood feud between the lirastots and zhiji is one of Lyzots' most defining cultural characteristics.
Lyzots' few cities are located outside of the jungle, and it is in these cities that people of different races tend to congregate. Within the jungle, there are small insular towns and villages that are almost universally lirastot or zhiji. Mixed-race villages will only extremely rarely have zhiji and lirastots living near one another, and more often than not, one of the two races will get pushed out or leave on their own. The fear and stigma against geralkki luts tends to strain the possibility of zhiji or lirastots living in the same area for extended periods of time. Even in large cities, these races will often self-segregate if there aren't laws keeping them apart.
Most settlements in Lyzots within the Tasar Jungle are built where the jungle is naturally more spread out and not so densely packed. They often have standing miniature militias to defend themselves from lirastot or zhiji (depending on the racial make-up of the village) attacks and hostilities from local wildlife. A rare few with the economy to support it will instead employ Union contractors. Union employees or freelance "guards" comprise the bulk of the Tasar Jungle's non-zhiji or lirastot population.
