Carefree and independent, Traum Maikfeuer does what she wants, when she wants, and doesn't have time for those who would tell her otherwise. However, she does not see herself as selfish; rather, she thinks all should be able to live their lives the way they wish, rather than the way they are told. It was at her urging that Jitka Zlo Zatek switched majors to archaeology, rather than continuing the path her parents chose.
Of course, part of her carefree nature may be how flighty and forgetful she is. It's hard to feel pressured by responsibilities you don't remember, after all.
Jitka considers Traum one of her closest friends, and the two still write to each other regularly.
