An uninhabitable planet near the sun, Wraunt Catin has the distinction of being the smallest of the terrestrial planets. Less than half the size of its closest neighbor Gerualdi, it has long been a symbol of sorts for space exploration, as it is the only planet visible at some point throughout the year on every habitable planet. Astronomers from all planets looked to Wraunt Catin and its seemingly bizarre path in the night sky as a riddle to be solved, eventually spurring more to look to the stars.

Geography[]

Wraunt Catin is marred with various craters and basins, but appears to lack any water or volcanic activity. Because it is so close to the sun, it is nigh impossible to land spacecraft on it to better understand its geography. Some sattelites have been able to capture images of Wraunt Catin, though many of these sattelites have been lost throughout the years, and rebuilding them in a post-Godbomb era is an expense many governments are not inclined to take.

One of the most notable features of Wraunt Catin is the comparatively thin lines that connect all of the craters, almost like an enormous web. Scientists have been unable to identify a precise cause for these lines, though common suggestions are impressions from ice or perhaps irregular convection activity when Wraunt Catin was active.

A sattelite image from 3097 depicted large footprint-like impressions on the surface of Wraunt Catin. It is thought that a god such as Jonali the Abyssroamer may have left them there, or they were an accident of geological formation.

Moons[]

Wraunt Catin does not have any moons.
